Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Denison University

Past Experience : Twenty four years with The Boeing Company in its Washington, D.C. government affairs office holding management positions in Customer Relations, International Trade and Legislative Affairs. Serving lastly as an executive managing a team which orchestrated over 200 high impact events annually, including countless international air shows, political conventions and inaugurations, plus sponsorships, and started Capital Protocol LLC to specialize in what I truly enjoy, executive and delegation event management. Over the years I conducted Protocol and Business Etiquette sessions for over 400 rising Boeing executives, and serve as a trainer for The Protocol School of Washington.

Something Fun about Yourself : Unleashing the creative part of me – I love cooking, entertaining, drawing, painting and interior design. A long time ago I was an Emergency Medical Technician working on an ambulance. It was that experience I credit for developing my skills as a protocol officer – logistics, calm out of chaos, expect the unexpected.

Wendy Jones is a speaker and global consultant who has walked the talk as a VIP customer facing corporate executive for 25+ years in the aviation industry as trusted advisor to C-suite leadership. Talents include customer engagement, relationship management, and leadership to maximize multi-million dollar corporate sponsorships. 

Previously, Ms. Jones served as Director of Customer Relations in The Boeing Company’s Washington, DC office where she developed a strong network of relationships with the US Congress; Executive Branch; diplomatic corps; aerospace industry; trade associations; hospitality; event management companies, and premier global institutions.

Well-known in the DC area for her ability to leverage sponsorship with prestige organizations, she has worked closely with The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museums.

Ms. Jones earned a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Denison University and resides with her family in McLean VA.
