What you do for PSOW : I am the “voice” although I am not a soloist! You will speak first with me when you call and then my teammates and I harmonize to provide you with excellent customer service. I also have the responsibility to keep our President “humming a happy tune” with her busy schedule.

Educational Background : University of South Carolina, BA in History and Political Science; 2006 Graduate of The Protocol School of Washington

Past Experience : Retired Corporate Secretary of SCANA Corporation and Subsidiaries after thirty-one years with the Company. Served on the National and Southeastern Chapter Board of Directors-Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals; and Executive Advisory Committee for Governmental and Community Relations-Edison Electric Institute. I have served on a number of Boards in the Palmetto Health organization: Chairman-Children’s Hospital Board of Directors, Chairman-Palmetto Health Richland Board of Directors, Secretary-Palmetto Health Board of Directors and Chairman-Audit Committee, Palmetto Health Foundation Board of Directors. I have served at the pleasure of two governors of South Carolina on the Adult Protection Coordinating Council of South Carolina and the South Carolina Advisory Council for the Continuum of Care for Emotionally Disturbed Children.

Affiliated with : Co-founder of the Palmetto Connection – an organization of support staff to South Carolina’s leading executives and mentoring to those just entering this position; licensed with The Knight Company (real estate).

Something Fun about Yourself : I am a grandmother and great-grandmother! I love to travel, cook, read, and paint in oils, dabble in pastels and watercolors.
