Welcome Back – Upon arrival to the office (and checking in), avoid the handshake by immediately putting your right hand over your heart. You can smile and say a nice greeting to others such as “Good morning, Tim” or “Great to be back, Tatiana.” Perhaps you have a great friend at the office and don’t want to seem unwelcoming; give them a virtual hug by extending your arms to them and saying – “sending you a virtual hug, my friend.”  Lastly, you can offer a friendly wave to say hello as you pass your colleagues’ workstations.
