Under the joint patronage of the Protocol Department - Dubai and the Ministry of Presidential Affairs - Abu Dhabi, The Protocol School of Washington offers an adapted version of the acclaimed Protocol Officer Training. The International Protocol Manager Training was developed and adapted to cater to the MENA region and international audience through relevant course content and activities. The course's different name reflects the preference of U.S. graduates to be trained as protocol officers and those outside the U.S. to be trained as protocol managers. This five-day comprehensive training provides a dynamic and interactive learning experience through expert instruction, guided exercises, and coaching which provide a thorough foundation in the fundamentals of operational protocol.
The International Protocol Manager Training (IPMT) Certificate Program consists of nine modules. Each module covers a specific topic in the field of international protocol and business etiquette. Each individual module contains training pre-work (1-2 hours), a live training session (2-3 hours), and a post-training quiz.
A 90% attendance rate is required of all participants and a 70% or above on daily end-of-day quiz and final exam. This course is strictly Pass/Fail. The Training Manager, in conjunction with the course facilitators, will observe and evaluate your participation, along with your quiz grades, to determine if you understand the material and if you pass or fail the course.
Classes and all materials are presented in English. To ensure the best student experience, English language proficiency and basic computer skills are required.
